Austin started his political career as a Field Organizer for the 2014 Democratic Coordinated Campaign.

Since then he has grown to become an integral part of various statewide and national campaigns. In 2020 he was the Michigan Labor Director for the Biden-Harris Campaign. Since the founding of BlueWave Campaigns, Austin has taken on various clients from local candidates, state legislative candidates, Congressional Candidates, Unions, Progressive Groups, and various Independent Expenditures. He has led many of those to electoral victory, he has helped move policy, and he has helped his clients win their Victory - as many wins are not always electoral wins but movement creation.

Austin lives in Delta Township with his wife, their son, and their dog. During the free time politics gives him, Austin chisels away at his ever-growing book and movie collections. He also looks to invest and build other businesses across the country that create opportunity both in and out of politics.
